Yogaleidoscope

A year has elapsed since our first Yogea post. What a rewarding and inspiring time! We boldly rode the daring wave of the Water Dragon year and sailed through and ocean of ancient wisdom and modern thought. Together with our dear viewers whose invaluable comments and directions helped us grow, we ventured to give you an appreciation of all sources of Yoga throughout the world. From Ayurveda wellness tips to Qi-Gong meditation tools, from the prophecies of I-Ching to the mysteries of Kabbalah, from the paradoxical wisdom of Taoism to the whimsical pantheon of Hindu deities, from whirling Dervishes to Zen aesthetics we cruised our global spiritual heritage to address the current concerns of an evolving world.
This wouldn’t have been possible without the inspiring dialogue with thousands of viewers around the world. Thank you for your constructive feedback that challenged us to improve with every post. Thank you for practicing the routines, learning them assiduously and setting them to your favorite music. It has been so gratifying and insightful to read all your comments and apply them directly into Yogea – a signature Yoga blend that we created together while communing, sharing and practicing, a style that defies imposed standards and expands consciousness by nurturing innovation and creativity.
And indeed, the captivating visuals, sublime editing and flawless production of Ana & Kalin Ivanov coupled with an ingenious flow has challenged us  to “think out of the box” and reconsider the ancient practice from a contemporary lens. Special thanks go to all the teacher trainees and graduate teachers from Yogea Artflow Center, NY who through their devoted teaching and heartfelt practice have contributed to the refining of the style. Sincere gratitude to all the performing artists from Overground Arts Alliance and Overground Physical Theatre Company (Alexandra Kramerova, Aga Totani,  Blair Hotchner, Cecilia Landers, Danielle Schlauderaff, Gessica Paperini,  Hara Zi-Radopoulou, Motoko Tadano, Sipra Saraogi, Siras Nitithatsanakul, Valentina Priolo, Xana Villan Rueda). We are deeply grateful to our mystical singer and “archepolyphonist” Bisan Toron for her enchanting melodies that have elevated our practice to higher realms of vibrational healing.
Together we have woven this colorful YOGALEIDOSCOPE to honor all strings of the spiritual tradition, all aspects of the yoga practice, all souls that seek enlightenment on Earth and in the Universe. May all living beings be happy and free! Namaste.
