It’s sunday: I wake up late with a tired feeling in my body and mind. I feel old, slow and low spirited… It is cold and grey outside – going for a walk is not an option today. What could I do to feel better? I roll out my yoga mat and check out my friend Antonia’s website “YOGEA”. Intergral Yoga Routine: Essential Candor” is the latest post! Great! I think – I close my eyes and follow the instructions. I hardly ever have to gaze at the screen. Antonia’s soft and clear voice reaches my ears and my body-mind understanding easily. Allowing myself to follow my breath and alter some positions – if it seems too “difficult” – I listen to her voice and follow the entire routine with an astonishing ease. It feels as if Antonia was standing right beside me and helping me get through the flow. At the end when I get up, I feel young, fresh and happy. This may sound very cliché… but it is simply true! There is such an amazing positive energy in her instructions, such love and care and an immense tolerance that sweeps through you when you listen to her instructions and follow the routines, which are – all of them – like small dances. I guess that is why the Yogea routines talk to me: because they dance. The poses move organically into one another – and if it is too difficult – there is always a way to simply rest or alter the movement slightly without loosing track of the danceflow in the routine. Thank you for sharing so generously your knowledge. I appreciate deeply what you give to us with your work.
